Terms and Conditions

White Rose House Clearance

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between White Rose House Clearance (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer (“you”, “your”) for the provision of house clearance and related services.
By booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services Provided

• We provide house clearance, garage clearance, loft and attic clearance, and related removal services as agreed in writing or verbally at the time of booking.

• Any additional services requested on the day may be carried out at our discretion and may be subject to additional charges.

• We reserve the right to refuse the removal of items that are hazardous, illegal, or unsafe to handle.

3. Quotes and Pricing

• All quotes are based on the information you provide, including the location, type, and volume of items to be removed.

• If on arrival the job differs significantly from the description provided, we may adjust the price accordingly before starting work.

• Prices include labour, loading, transportation, and disposal fees unless otherwise stated.

• All quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued.

4. Booking and Cancellations

• Bookings can be made via phone, email, or in person.

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.

5. Access and Customer Responsibilities

• You must ensure that we have safe and reasonable access to the property and the items to be cleared.

• Any parking fees, permits, or access arrangements are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

• You are responsible for removing any personal or valuable items before we begin work.

6. Waste Disposal and Recycling

• We are fully licensed waste carriers and will dispose of items responsibly in accordance with UK waste regulations.

• We will recycle and donate items wherever possible to minimise landfill.

7. Liability

• While we take care to avoid damage, we are not liable for pre-existing damage to property or items being removed.

• We are not responsible for the removal or loss of any personal items left within furniture, drawers, or boxes cleared by us.

• Our total liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid for the job.

8. Payment

• Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• We accept cash, bank transfer, or other agreed payment methods.

• Late payments may incur interest charges at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.

9. Delays and Force Majeure

• We are not liable for delays or failure to provide services due to events beyond our control, including severe weather, accidents, illness, or road closures.

10. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
