1. Services

We provide house clearance, estate clearance, and related services as described on our website and in our quotations.

2. Quotations

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
  • Quotations are based on the information provided by you
  • If the scope of work differs significantly from what was described, we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly
  • Final pricing will be confirmed before work commences

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of the clearance unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments
  • A deposit may be required for large clearances
  • Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue

4. Cancellation

  • You may cancel a booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled date without charge
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule in exceptional circumstances (e.g., severe weather)

5. Access & Keys

  • You must provide clear access to the property
  • If keys are provided, we will return them immediately upon completion
  • We are not responsible for any items removed by third parties if unsupervised access is required

6. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

✓ Ensuring you have the legal right to authorize the clearance
✓ Removing any items you wish to keep before our arrival
✓ Informing us of any hazardous materials or special requirements
✓ Ensuring utilities (water, electricity) are available if required

7. Our Responsibilities

We will:

  • Arrive at the agreed time (or notify you of any delays)
  • Clear items as agreed in the quotation
  • Leave the property in a clean and tidy condition
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and legally
  • Provide Waste Transfer Notes as required by law

8. Liability & Insurance

  • We maintain full public liability insurance
  • We take reasonable care with your property, but we are not liable for pre-existing damage
  • Valuable or sentimental items should be removed before clearance
  • We are not responsible for items mistakenly cleared if not clearly identified to us

9. Valuables & Lost Property

  • If we discover items of significant value during clearance, we will contact you
  • We are not responsible for verifying the contents of sealed boxes or bags
  • Any items you wish to retain must be clearly marked and communicated to us in advance

10. Environmental Compliance

We are registered with the Environment Agency as a licensed waste carrier and comply with all relevant environmental legislation.

11. Data Protection

12. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service:

  1. Contact us immediately to discuss the issue
  2. We will investigate and respond within 7 working days
  3. We will work with you to resolve the matter fairly

13. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the clearance service provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
